展現英(ying)語(yu)(yu)風采，訴說(shuo)微笑(xiao)力量(liang)。5月18日下午，山東(dong)職業學院(yuan)第一屆(jie)英(ying)語(yu)(yu)文化節(jie)開幕(mu)(mu)式暨“The Power of Smile”主(zhu)(zhu)題英(ying)語(yu)(yu)演講(jiang)比賽(sai)在圖書館行政樓東(dong)報(bao)告廳舉行，學院(yuan)副院(yuan)長郭鵬出席開幕(mu)(mu)式并致辭，基礎部(思政部)主(zhu)(zhu)任賈(jia)明斌、團委書記(ji)王(wang)偉、國際(ji)交流中(zhong)心主(zhu)(zhu)任呂(lv)子泉蒞臨比賽(sai)現場(chang)。
副(fu)院(yuan)長(chang)郭鵬(peng)在致辭中指出(chu)，隨著(zhu)我們國(guo)家高鐵國(guo)際化戰(zhan)略的(de)(de)推進(jin)實施和學(xue)(xue)院(yuan)建設優質高職院(yuan)校的(de)(de)改革發展(zhan)，培養(yang)高素質應(ying)(ying)用(yong)(yong)型人才(cai)目標中學(xue)(xue)生英(ying)語應(ying)(ying)用(yong)(yong)水平凸顯重(zhong)要性，此次隆(long)重(zhong)舉(ju)辦我院(yuan)第一屆英(ying)語文(wen)化節目的(de)(de)就是(shi)為(wei)了進(jin)一步突出(chu)英(ying)語學(xue)(xue)習(xi)的(de)(de)重(zhong)要性，鍛(duan)煉同學(xue)(xue)們的(de)(de)英(ying)語口語及實際交流(liu)應(ying)(ying)用(yong)(yong)能力，營造學(xue)(xue)院(yuan)濃厚的(de)(de)英(ying)語學(xue)(xue)習(xi)氛圍(wei)，為(wei)打造特(te)色學(xue)(xue)習(xi)型校園(yuan)進(jin)行的(de)(de)一次非常有益(yi)和有意義的(de)(de)嘗試。
本屆英(ying)(ying)(ying)語文化節歷時一個(ge)月，由基礎(chu)部、團委和國(guo)際(ji)(ji)交流中心共同舉辦，是響(xiang)應學院建設國(guo)內(nei)領先、國(guo)際(ji)(ji)先進的(de)優質高職院校(xiao)目標(biao)，通過開(kai)展英(ying)(ying)(ying)語演講比賽(sai)、英(ying)(ying)(ying)文歌曲大(da)賽(sai)、英(ying)(ying)(ying)語配(pei)音秀、英(ying)(ying)(ying)文海報比賽(sai)和英(ying)(ying)(ying)語角等系列主題(ti)活動(dong)，旨(zhi)在營造(zao)人(ren)人(ren)學習(xi)英(ying)(ying)(ying)語、用(yong)好英(ying)(ying)(ying)語的(de)濃(nong)厚氛圍，提升大(da)學生(sheng)的(de)學英(ying)(ying)(ying)語、說英(ying)(ying)(ying)語、用(yong)好英(ying)(ying)(ying)語的(de)水平，活動(dong)內(nei)容新穎豐富，貼近學習(xi)生(sheng)活。
經(jing)過(guo)前期的(de)(de)(de)預賽，最(zui)終(zhong)有來(lai)自各系的(de)(de)(de)15位(wei)選(xuan)手站上(shang)了決(jue)賽的(de)(de)(de)舞臺(tai)，他(ta)們圍繞“The Power of Smile”為主題展示(shi)英語演講(jiang)風采，他(ta)們的(de)(de)(de)演講(jiang)或慷慨激昂、情感熱(re)烈，或述說細(xi)膩、娓娓道(dao)來(lai)，加之與外教Kim、Daleen的(de)(de)(de)現場(chang)互(hu)動(dong)問答，贏得了臺(tai)下觀眾的(de)(de)(de)陣陣掌聲。經(jing)過(guo)激烈的(de)(de)(de)比拼，最(zui)終(zhong)張嘉琳(lin)、袁(yuan)嘉賢(xian)、周穎、曲昌(chang)、高雪菲(fei)5位(wei)同學(xue)榮獲了此次比賽的(de)(de)(de)一等獎。
On the afternoon of May 18, the English Speech Contest entitled “The Power of Smile” launched the First English Culture Festival of Shandong Polytechnic, which was held in the East Lecture Hall. Guo Peng, vice president of the college, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. The distinguished guests present include Mr. Jia Mingbin, dean of the Department of General Studies; Mr. Wang Wei, secretary of the Communist Youth League; Mr. Lv Ziquan, director of the International Exchange Center.
Vice President Guo Peng emphasized the substantial role played by English in the cultivation of well-qualified graduates. We hold the English festival with the purpose of enhancing the application of English, strengthening the English studying atmosphere as well as creating an academic-featured campus, which is a beneficial and significant attempt.
The English Festival is co-sponsored by the Department of General Studies, the Youth League and the International Exchange Center, lasting for one month. This festival consists of an English speech contest, a singing competition, a dubbing show, cultural posters and a gala, which is innovative and close to daily use and college life.
There are 15 contestants participated in the final contest after rounds and rounds of fierce competition. They delivered their speech with varied styles, passionate, enthusiastic or delicate. Audience burst into applause now and then for the active interaction between the contestants and the foreign teachers. Eventually, 5 students got the first prize who are named Zhang Jialin, Yuan Jiaxian, Zhou Ying, Qu Chang and Gao Xuefei.
